Ophelia Sinclair

Ophelia Sinclair, 93, died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart. She was born on April 2, 1917, at DeWitt to Lucy Bell and William Andrew Harris. Mrs. Sinclair was of the Assembly of God faith, a homemaker and also a caregiver. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Sinclair; four brothers; and three sisters. Survivors are one son, Herbert W. Sinclair Sr. of Scott; one daughter, Linda M. Thompson of Scott; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services, officiated by C.B. Wilson, are 2 p.m. Wednesday September 29, 2010, at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with burial following in Williams Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Turpin Funeral Home.
