Ruth Bradley Vizzier Modesto

Ruth Bradley Vizzier Modesto, age 103, died Aug. 5, 2011. She was born Feb. 3, 1908, to Samuel and Odie Mitchell Bradley. Mrs. Ruth was a member of Gillett United Methodist Church and worked many years at Gillett Public Schools cafeteria. She is preceded in death by husbands, John Vizzier and Arthur Modesto; son Carroll Vizzier; a grandson and a granddaughter. Survivors include: son, Douglas "Billie" Vizzier, daughter Peggy Trites, both of Gillett; two stepsons, Doyle Modesto of Allen, Texas, Darrell Modesto of Ardmore, Okla.; brother, James Bradley of Roswell, N.M.; sisters, Lavone Gray of Roswell, N.M., Mary Maston of Dallas, Texas, Mabel Woodson of Waxahachie, Texas; seven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at Gillett United Methodist Church with burial in Gillett Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home, DeWitt, Ark.
