Mary Evelyn Cress

Mary Evelyn Cress, 88, of Ashdown, Ark., died August 6, 2011 in Ashdown, Ark. Mrs. Cress was born Sept. 5, 1922 in Howard County. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Ashdown, Ark. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, T.W. and Georgia Croom; one brother; one sister; and one son, Bob Cress. Survivors include her former husband, Robert R. Cress of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter-in-law, Camille Cress of Little Rock, Ark.; sister-in-law, Marrium Croom of Grantsville, Utah; granddaughter, Jessica Cress of Little Rock, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Madden Funeral Home, Ashdown, Ark.
