Bennie Douglas Frizzell Sr.

Bennie Douglas Frizzell Sr., age 81, of Highland Village, Texas, formerly of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 in Plano, Texas. He was born May 30, 1930 in Whelan Springs, Arkansas to Aubrey and Mary House Frizzell. Bennie retired from the United States Air Force after serving 25 years as Master Sergeant. He finished his career working for the United States Post Office and the APWU, serving as National Business Agent until 2003. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and he was a member of the Commander Club. Bennie is survived by his son, Rod Frizzell and wife, Leah of Highland Village; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one son, Bennie Douglas Frizzell Jr. and a daughter, Cathy McArthur and by one brother.
