Dixie Arline Rose Blankenship

Dixie Arline Rose Blankenship, 74, of West Memphis, Ark., passed away Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at her residence. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in West Memphis and was preceded in death by her husband, Lidell Elmer Blankenship. She is survived by five daughters, Rosemary Hodge of Plano, Texas, Melanie Pratt of Marmaduke, Ark., Joy Terral of West Memphis, Ark., Sandra Dyer of Memphis, Tenn., and Janet Haflich of Texarkana, Texas; three sisters, Lena Ray of Bentonville, Ark., Polly Gibson of Marmaduke, Ark., and Jean Stallings of Marmaduke, Ark.; her brother, Sanford Porter Rose III (Sandy) of Marmaduke, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The visitation will be Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Ark. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service in New Liberty Cemetery in Paragould, Ark.
