Bessie Etta Mee

BESSIE ETTA MEE, 88, of Sherwood, born March 29, 1923, passed away on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Vivian Turner Marler; two sons, Don Mee and Jimmy Seale; two brothers, Jack and Joe Marler; and sister, Vestal Calder. Bessie is survived by her loving husband and caretaker of 35 years, Charles Mee, of the home. She leaves behind her children, whom all adored her; Jerri Tollett (Ronny), of Cabot, Michael Mee (Connie), of Clarksville, Harriett Seale, of Little Rock, Michael Seale (Jeanie), of Norman, Okla., Kay Williams (J. D.), of Ward, Kathy Seale, of Juneau, Alaska, and Jeffery Mee (Sandy), of Benton; eighteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be at 6 - 8 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main Street, Jacksonville, Ark. Visitation will also be held Monday from 6 - 8 p.m., Dec. 5, 2011, at Hardwick Funeral Home, 509 West Main St, Clarksville, Ark.
