Beverly Hubbard Jette

BEVERLY HUBBARD JETTE, 74, of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. She was born May 13, 1937, in Burlington, Vt., to the late Seth and Margaret Woodward Hubbard. While living in Vermont, Mrs. Jette served as president of the women's GOP of Franklin. Mrs. Jette was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Ark., were she was president of alter and rosary for one term and the organist for 20 years. She enjoyed square dancing, camping, and was an active member of Whispering Pines RV Chapter. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jette is survived by her husband, Edmund Jette, of Jacksonville; her children, Michael Jette, of The Colony, Texas, Rebecca Taylor, of Florence, Ala., Richard Jette, of Bells, Texas, and her beloved "Bear." She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bethany, Jessica, Seth, Leslie, Kayla, and Ashley; three great-grandchildren and her brother, John Hubbard of St. Albans, Vt. There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at St. Jude Catholic Church, with a rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral mass will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home 501-982-2136.
