Jerry D. Sadler

Jerry D. Sadler, 67, of Romance, died on Dec. 2, 2011. He was born June 12, 1944, to Garlan and Jessie Sadler in Seminole, Texas. Jerry was born eighth in a family of 10 children. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jerry retired after a lengthy career with Entergy as an Operations Manager. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son; and four siblings. He is survived by two daughters, Glenna Walker, of McRae, and Becky (Bo) Pruitt, of El Paso; three grandchildren, Baylea Walker, Taylor Walker, and Dalton Pruitt; lifelong friend and mother of their children, Maye Sadler; and five siblings, Janell Payne, of McRae, Linda (Kenneth) Swafford, of McRae, Gerlene (Bruce) Douglass, of Houston, Texas, Marcella Hobbs, of Olney, Texas, and Duane (Diane) Sadler, of Haughton, La. Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe.
