J. TED BLAGG, 71, passed away as a result of a car accident on Dec. 8, 2011. Ted was born on Feb. 16, 1940. He attended Little Rock Central High School and was a member of Central's all-star football team from 1956 to 1958. A graduate of Hendrix College and Vanderbilt Law School, he practiced law in Arkansas for 45 years. Ted also taught civics and American history classes at Pulaski Tech for two years. His greatest joys were caring for his family, working on his farm, teaching, and watching classic westerns. He is survived by his wife, Linda Blagg; three children, Andrew, Amanda, and Tony Blagg; five sisters, Susie Page, Annette Ledbetter, Janette Buchanan, Sarah Eudy, Nena Batson, and one brother, Tom Blagg. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. A visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Honorary Pall Bearers are Tom Blagg, Tony Blagg, John Batson, Wade Ledbetter, Clell Watts, David Long, Ron Woodall, and Jerry Evans. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the "Blagg Educational Memorial Fund" at any Arvest Bank for Amanda and Tony.
