Ralph G. Clement

RALPH G. CLEMENT, 94, of Little Rock, died Saturday. He was born Oct. 23, 1917, in England, Ark., to Gene and Veda Martin Clement. He was in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked in the post office in Scott and as a warehouse manager in Little Rock for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Lavern Burba Clement; his parents; and his brother, John William Clement (J.W.). Survivors include his daughter, Carolyn Clement Rountree (George); three grandchildren, Debbie English (Jim), Jan Gaughan (Richard), and George E. Rountree; five great-grandchildren, Rachel and Sarah English, Adam Wells, Matt Wells (Erin) and Carley Rountree; and two great-great-grandchildren, Laurel Wells and Landon Wells. Funeral services will be noon Tuesday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, (501)224-8300. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cabot, Ark. Visitation is at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
