Delt O. Hill

Delt O. Hill, age 66, of Crossett, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Ashley County Medical Center. He was born in Hamburg, Ark. on December 4, 1945 to his parents, Monroe and Madie Carpenter Hill. Mr. Hill was an Air Force veteran and a Baptist. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling; fishing and spending time with family, and friends. Mr. Hill was raised on the Prairie in Ft. Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mildred Mansfield, Norma Faye Hilburn, two brothers, Billy Hill, Rat Hill and his wife, Betty Jo Duncan Hill. Survivors include his son, Mitchell Hill and wife, Nicole, both of Crossett, Ark; one niece, Kaye Savage of Ft. Hill, Ark; a host of cousins, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
