Patricia Ann Price, 71, was born May 27th 1940 in Little Rock Ark, and passed away on December 12th 2011 in North Little Rock Ark. Pat was born in Little Rock and lived there until 1948, when she relocated to the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home in Monticello Arkansas. She spent the majority of her childhood there. She graduated from Monticello High School in 1958 and then on to the Baptist School of Nursing in Little Rock. Pat married the love of her life William Edward on September 24th 1960. She received her LPN license thru the (BSN) in January of 1962, and began her nursing career working for Doctors; Chudy, Schratz, and Belknap in North Little Rock. After more than 20 years as an LPN, Pat was accepted into a special program at the Baptist School of Nursing and became the first person to become a RN thru this accelerated nursing program. She worked at Baptist Memorial in NLR for several years and went on to work in the home health field thru the Baptist Medical System before retiring in 1997. Pat was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to her family. She loved her home and all those that were apart of it. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years William Edward Price; son Michael Edward Price and his wife Esther their children Steven (Holly), Erin (Scott), and Jordan; son Gary Lynn Price his wife Paula their children Philip (Kaitlyn), Zachary, Hannah, Jacob, and Caleb; daughter Rebecca Ann Seigrist her husband Mark their daughter Natalie Danielle; son Jon Alan Price his wife Megan and their sons Lucas and Landon, and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her mother Jo Ann Oates Jackson, her father Andrew Memory Jackson, and her grandson Marcus Neal Seigrist. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 16th at North Little Rock Funeral Home.
