Lydia Helm

Lydia Jo Helm, 91, of Searcy, died Sunday, December 11, 2011. She was born February 27, 1920 in Bearden, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Lydia Ola Honeycutt White. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Alice Helm Burns and her husband Bill of St. Charles, Missouri, and Ann Helm Thomas and her husband Johnny of Powderly, Texas; a son, Hank Helm and his wife Susan of Searcy; eight grandchildren, John, Paul and Laura Beth Burns, Angie and Pat Thomas, and Leslie Helm Dollar, Allison Helm Smith and Alex Helm; 21 great-grandchildren and a niece Lydia Mattox. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edwin Jay Helm. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Searcy.
