Ralph M. Watts

RALPH WATTS, age 50, of Jacksonville, passed Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. He was born Nov. 17, 1961, in Riverside, Calif., to Ralph Marion Watts and Diana Mae Watts. He worked as a mechanic for Gwatney Chevrolet and Landers Toyota; he was an avid hunter, fisherman, and coached baseball in Jacksonville for many years. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Connie Walker. Mr. Watts was an organ donor. He is survived by his loving wife Kim Watts; children, Candace Watts and Ralph Michael Watts; sisters, Cyndie Simmons, Cathy Doolin, Carrie Keel, Carol McArthur, and Robin Beard; a mother-in-law, Patsy Killough; brother-in-law, Brian Killough; his Chocolate Lab, Lacey; and host nieces, nephews, and of other family and friends. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, 2011, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Ray Derden officiating; interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
