Jackie Bowden Wilson

Jackie Bowden Wilson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 23, 1955 in Dermott, Arkansas the daughter of Carolyn Ann Magness Bowden and the late James Elmer Bowden. She was a Human Resources Manager at Arcclor Mittal at Pine Bluff, and had previously worked for 18 years at Centria in Sheridan. She was very active in the community, serving on the Southeast Arkansas United Way Board of Directors , Grant County Chamber of Commerce and Relay 4 Life. Jackie passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her family, at the age of 56. Survivors: husband, Larry Wilson; Sons, Derrick and wife Morgan Wilson; Brandon and wife Barbie Wilson all of Sheridan; mother, Carolyn Bowden of Yuma, Arizona; brother, Chris and wife Robin Bowden of Hot Springs; nephew, Chase Bowden; three grandchildren, Carter, Carlee and Madeley and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Travis Creekmore officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to New Harvest Church of God, 9016 Hwy 270, White Hall, Arkansas 71602. Pallbearers are Dale Walters, Aaron Boone, Jeff Ford, Jonathan Whitehead, Bobby Thomas, Bryan Strom, Jack Cheshire and Roger Morris. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Gartman and Aaron Graves.
