Connie M. Gwatney

Connie M. Gwatney 82, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, December 19, 2011. Connie was the daughter of the late Raymond R. and Rebecca May Strahan Nesbitt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Andrew L. Gwatney; two brothers and one sister. She was an active member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Connie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend she will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by three sons, Michael Gwatney (Sharon) of Harrison, George Gwatney (Veleta) of Broussard, La. and Richard Gwatney of North Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Mae Gwatney; one sister, Louise Vandegrift of Sherwood and two brothers, Charles Nesbitt of Fayetteville, Boyd Nesbitt (Shirley) of Winslow, Ark. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011, Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Little Rock National Cemetery.
