Cynthia Gaye Throckmorton

Cynthia Gaye Throckmorton, 52, of Bradford, died Wednesday December 21, 2011. She was born August 26, 1959 in Newport to Nola Mayhue Throckmorton and the late Leree Throckmorton. She is survived by her mother, Nola Throckmorton; brother, Cliff Throckmorton; her special friend, Kris Carlisle; maternal aunts and uncles, Betty and Perry Wynn, Geraldine Mayhue Simmons, Benolyn Mayhue Hunter, Kenneth Mayhue and Jimmy Mayhue; paternal uncle, Wayne Throckmorton; 21 first cousins and a host of friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her father. Cynthia was a very giving person and was loved by all who knew her. She loved her church and was a member of the Velvet Ridge Church of Christ. The family would like to give a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and their staff for the kindness, compassion, and love that they shared. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Services will be conducted Monday, December 26, 10 a.m., Velvet Ridge Church of Christ.
