BETTY LOIS WILKINSON PHILIPS, age 72, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011. She was born Oct. 21, 1939 in Texarkana, Ark. the daughter of the late Douglas Wilkinson and Lois Berry Wilkinson. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville and was a PBX operator for South Western Bell. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Wilkinson and one brother, Alvin Wilkinson. She is survived by her children, Pamela Elizabeth Wilson and her husband Franklin of Simpsonville, S.C., Neil Douglas Phillips of Pickens, S.C.; grandchildren, Savannah Megan Wardlaw, Sabrina Elizabeth Wilson, and Jonah Daniel Wilson all of Simpsonville, S.C.; mother, Lois Berry Wilkinson; siblings, Michael Wilkinson and his wife Donna, Pamela Pruett and her husband Rick, Penny Dietz and her husband Mike and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Walter officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville.
