Lois A Dawson

Lois A. Dawson, 76, of Sherwood, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011. Lois was born in Logan, Ohio to the late George Eldon and Eva Marie Dugan Carr. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; a grandchild, Jessica Lynn Westerfield; stepmother, Janet Carr; her brother and sister, George Carr and Arlene Schneider. Lois was a member of Park Hill Presbyterian Church. She was a wonderful cook, loved needle work and was a classical pianist. Lois was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, William; two daughters, Kathy Clayton (Donnie) of El Dorado, Ark. and Debbie Westerfield (Phil) of Omaha, Neb.; four sons, Scott Dawson (Kay) of Germantown, Tenn., Jeff Dawson (Stephanie) of Austin, Texas, Greg Dawson (Monica) of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Mark Dawson (Melissa) of Denver, Colo.; fifteen grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Friday, December 30, 2011, at Park Hill Presbyterian Church with Reverend Gordon Garlington, III, officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F.
