Nina Sue Niemeyer, 72, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully in her home Christmas morning. Sue was born August, 26th 1939 in Ola, Arkansas, to the late Earl and Daisy Gaylor. She married Walter Rogers in 1957. Together they made their home and raised their two daughters, Karalin and Betty, in southwest Little Rock. Following Walter's passing in 1992, she married Henry Niemeyer in 1994. Henry died in 1996. Known by those who loved her as "Mamacita", she was a kind, caring, and generous person. She was employed for many years as an office manager, but the true joy of her life was caring for her family and her many canine children. Over the decades, and together with her family, she rescued, adopted, loved, and cared for more than 100 abused and abandoned dogs. Once these neglected animals came to her, they had found their home for life. Sue is survived by her two daughters, Karalin Rogers and Betty Lynn, both of Little Rock, and by her beloved dogs. In honor of her wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers please send donations to your local humane society. Arrangements provided by Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209 (501) 455-5800. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/drummond.
