Robert Gerald "Bob" Edwards

Robert Gerald "Bob" Edwards, 76, formerly of Sherwood, died at home in Dardanelle on Dec. 24, 2011. Bob worked in various managerial positions for MAPCO/Delta Express during a 36-year career in petroleum marketing. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; children Nolan Edwards and wife Dianne of Russellville; Renee Bennett of Benton, and Lori McCauley and husband David of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Eric Bennett, Laura Melton, Stephanie Lane, Melissa Edwards, Blake and Alexis McCauley; great-grandchildren Kindsay and Eric Bennett, Jr., and sisters Anita Wilson of Sherwood, Wanda Jones, Carol Allen and Sally Kinkley. A memorial will be 2 p.m. Dec. 29, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Dardanelle. Reception follows. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FUMC, P.O. Box 188, Dardanelle, Ark. 72834.
