Ruthie Mae Welcher

Ruthie Mae Welcher, 84, of Conway, Ark., passed away at her home with her daughters by her side on Monday, December 26, 2011. She was born March 30, 1927 in Oklahoma. She was a member of the North Little Rock Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Odell Welcher. Left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Kim Drilling & husband Mark of Conway, Dana Havens & husband Marty of Greenbier, Angela Small of Conway; grandchildren, Amanda Spencer, Erika Havens, Kevin Harwell, Lance Harwell, Cheryl Small, Thomas Craig; six great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; Eloise Cockrum whom she thought of as a daughter and her son Skylar. Funeral will be 2 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2011 at Humphrey Chapel. Tommy Parson will officiate. Burial will be at Bell's Chapel Cemetery in Atkins, Ark. by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
