Garland Wayne Kempson

Garland Wayne Kempson, 65, of Bald Knob, died Tuesday December 27, 2011. He was born July 14, 1946 to the late R.P. "Buddy" and Louise Vasser Kempson in Detroit, Michigan. Survivors include his wife, Paulette Beard Kempson; sons, Gary (Sherry) Kempson of Memphis and Steven (Francie) Kempson of Texarkana, Texas; a daughter, Lisa (Darrin) Mason of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Kristen, Cody and Hunter Mason, Kayla, Kelsey, and Karlie Kempson; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Kempson of Muskogee, Oklahoma and a sister, Mary Dewbery of Oklahoma. Garland was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Danny Kempson. Services will be conducted Friday December 30, 2011, 2 p.m., Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.
