William E. "Buddy" Crossman

William E. "Buddy" Crossman, 77, of Bald Knob, died Sunday, January 30, 2011. He was born May 3, 1933 in Russell a son of the late William "Bill" and Lillie Crossman. Buddy was a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Lois Wells; son, William H. "Sam" Crossman of Russell; daughters, Vickie Cannon of Drasco, Charlotte Holder of Bald Knob and Debbie Crossman of Newark; step-children, Shirley McConnell of Bald Knob, Wilma James of Pangburn and Beverly Lockhart of Bald Knob; sisters, Hazel Weathers of Bradford, Lavern Cagle of Cabot and Jean Steffie of Bradford. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob.
