Barbara Ethel Price

Barbara Ethel Price, 83, of McGehee was born November 10, 1927 in Russellville, AR and passed away on February 1, 2011 in Dermott. She was loved and cherished by her family and friends. She accomplished many great things in her life. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with all of her family and friends. Her faith was strong and her life was an example to us all. She was a member of the Mcgehee First Assembly of God church. Before retiring from McGehee Hospital she dedicated herself to running the foodservice program and serving as a registered dietitian. She was the best mother, grandmother, wife and friend that anyone could ever wish for. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, J.D. Price, children, Butch Price and his wife Cholista of Cabot, Ron Price and his wife Mary Kay of El Campo,Texas, Keith Price of Mcgehee, Cathy Price-Blagg of Vicksburg, MS, Scott Price and his wife Claire of Fort Smith; grandchildren Tony Price, Sarah….., Rebecca…., Scott Corbitt, David Price, Miranda …., Price Blagg, Bailey Price and Sophie Price; great-grandson, Bayliss Price; brothers, Virles Wasson of Arkadelphia Ark., Jimmy Wasson of Lake DeGray Ark., sister, Kitty Merritt of Rowher, Ark. and many other relatives and friends. We all loved her dearly and will miss her.
