Mr. Rudolph "Randy" Reid, 69, a resident of Wichita Falls, Texas received his angel wings on Thursday, January 27, 2011, at the Hospice Center of Wichita Falls. The funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon, Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the chapel of O.H. Pye III Funeral Home of Detroit, Michigan. Services were also held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Rudolph was born on November 13, 1941 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia proudly to Adolphus Reid and Essie Slaughter.  He entered the United States Air Force at Sheppard A.F.B. and later married his life-partner, Ollie Jo Ann Bowens of Wichita Falls. He served 21 years and 5 months and retired honorably and well-decorated. Shortly after his military retirement, Rudy took employment at First Arkansas Bank and Trust serving 20 years and retired as a Sr. Vice President. He graduated from the University of Maryland (alumni), BS, MS degrees. He leaves to uphold his legacy with fond memories, his precious wife, Jo Ann; eldest daughter, JoCarolyn A. Reid-Wyatt and husband Tony Lamar Wyatt of Jacksonville, Arkansas; daughter, Linda Diane Reid-Bonnema and husband Brian Bonnema of Bryan, Texas; step-daughter, Sargent First Class Ansonia D. Cobb; his grandchild, Haviland, both of Hattisburg, Mississippi; two sisters, Janice Dale of Detroit, Michigan, and Mickey Reid of Virginia Beach, Virginia; three brothers, Horace Reid and wife Rosa of Albany, Georgia, Gary Eugene Reid and wife Marguerite of Southfield, Michigan, and Harrold Reid and wife Edna of Monterey, Tennessee; sisters-in-law, Donna Kay Little, and Freddie Mae Ellis of Wichita Falls, Texas. Adoring, Vader Pearl Montgomery, Ulysses "JC" Hildreth, Victoria Dillard, John D. Ford and wife Doris Ann, all of Wichita Falls, Texas; a host of precious nieces and nephews, aunts, great-aunts, great-uncles, wonderful cousins, and precious relatives. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Adolphus Reid and mother, Essie Slaughter Reid; sister-in-law, Raphael Larkin; brothers-in-law, Willie Dale, Harrold "Butch" Bowens Jr., and Kenneth Ray Little; father-in-law, Harrold Bowens Sr.; and mother-in-law, Rita Mae Bowens.
