Sarah Chudy Daves

Sarah Chudy Daves, 94, of North Little Rock was born September 6, 1916 to Andrew and Cathrine Chudy in North Little Rock and passed away January 31, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband James Daves. She is survived by two sisters Salomae Evans and Stella Cothran both of North Little Rock. Aunt Sarah was special to many nieces and nephews all of whom have their own stories. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and The Catholic daughters. Many people knew Sarah for the many hours spent on her favorite past time fishing at Biscar, Ark. In her later years North Heights Recreation Center was a place great friendships were formed and much fun was had. When a bus trip was planned Sarah's name would be on the list for sure. She enjoyed cooking and she was known for her chocolate cake and Polish pickles which she shared with family and friends. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday February 5th at 10 a.m. and St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1516 Parker, N.L.R. Rosary will be recited preceding the service. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church. To the nurses and staff at Woodland Hills Healthcare, thanks so much to all of you.
