Geneva Clem Kent

Geneva Clem Kent, 86, of Lonoke departed this earthly life on February 2, 2011 to meet her Lord and Savior. She was born in Izard County, Arkansas on October 6, 1924 to the late J.T. and Lily Clem. Geneva was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church but attended Eastside Baptist Church after moving to Lonoke. She was a graduate of Melbourne High School. She was also a graduate of Harding College in Searcy and received her master's degree in science and social work from the University of Tennessee. She is survived by her son Sam Mason and his wife Cynthia of Lonoke, Geneva was "Geega" to her two grandsons, Brendan and his wife Jessie of North Little Rock and Alex of Lonoke. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Haley of Mabelvale and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be Saturday, February 5 at 1 p.m. at the Melbourne Cemetery with Bro. David Gibson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 4 from 6-7 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home in Lonoke. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital or to Alzheimer's Research.
