Mildred G Girdler

Mildred Gunning Girdler, 89, of Jacksonville was born October 17th, 1921 in Greenville, South Carolina and passed away on Thursday, February 3rd, 2011 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her husband Roland J. Girdler. She is remembered as a devoted mother and a person who lived life to the fullest and was a member of the Baptist faith. She loved animals especially her dogs that she considered part of her family; Star, Trixie, Tera and Caterac. Leaving to cherish her memory are her children; Carl A Durrett and his wife Brenda, Victoria E. Pinkey and her husband Kenneth, Mildred C. Durrett, William J. Durrett and his wife Charlene and Jan T. Durrett and stepsons Jeff Girdler and Roland G. Girdler. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 5th, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock. 501-835-3515.
