Sharon Lee Baer, 64, passed away on February 1, 2011, after waging a courageous battle with a rare cancer for over a year. She was born in Little Rock on April 1, 1946, to Leroy and Ruby Miles and brother, Robert. She attended Central High where she was a cheerleader and UALR where she became a member of Tri Delta sorority. She married a fellow Arkansan, Michael, in 1968 and their first son, Joshua, was born in Little Rock in 1972. She lived in New Orleans before moving to Dallas where their second son, Brandon was born in 1980. She lived in Baton Rouge, Memphis, Harrisburg and Boise before returning to Dallas to live the last 15 years of her life, where she established a very successful career in production music licensing. But, she was always an Arkansan in her heart. In 2008, two new members were added to her immediate family with daughter-in-law Jenny and grandson Oliver and she was never happier. She was a shining example of unconditional love and the love of laughter and life. She will be missed by all she left behind as Heaven gained a worthy soul and laughter just grew a little. A service to celebrate her life will be held at Antioch Missionary Church on Saturday, February 12, at 2 p.m.
