Hubert Langley

Hubert Langley, 114 Canterbury Lane, Idabel, Okla., was born on June 19, 1945 at Dalark, Ark., to Louis and Laurine Presley Langley. He was married to Sue Wright on May 29, 1970 at Foreman, Ark. Hubert held a Masters Degree in Science and Education and taught in the Idabel School System for 30 years. He passed from this life at his home on Feb. 5, 2011 at the age of 65 years, seven months and 16 days. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, James W. Langley. Hubert leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Sue of the home; one son, Lon Langley and wife, Leigh of Oklahoma City, Okla., and one daughter, Courtney and husband, Dr. Matt Mitchell of Fort Worth, Texas; his mother, Laurine Langley of Arkadelphia, Ark.; three grandchildren, Lauren Mitchell, Luke Mitchell, and Lane Mitchell all of Fort Worth, Texas. A host of other relatives, friends, and former students also survive. Visitation: 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, 2011, Norwood-Nation Chapel.
