Waymond E. Powell

WAYMOND E. POWELL, 64, of North Little Rock, died on Feb. 4, 2011. At last he's free, no more pain. He was preceded in death by his darling grandson, Evan Powell, his parents Johnny and Lovell Powell, and darling sister, Betty Wyles. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Shirley; sons, Michael James (Paula) of Benton and Jeffery Alan (Kellie) of Cabot; six grandchildren, Zachary Wayne, Madison, Isabel, Shae, Henry, and Ben; sisters, Lois (Bobby) Barnett, Becky (Randy) Tippitt, Judy (Steve) McKnight, and Marie (Mark) Hamp; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, Uncle Cecil (Jewell) Powell, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, who all loved him very much. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park.
