Emily Elizabeth Lindsey, 18, of Casscoe went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 5, 2011, as a result of an automobile accident. Emily was born August 6, 1992, in Stuttgart to Kelly and Krissie Taylor Lindsey. She was a senior at Grand Prairie Evangelical Methodist School where she played basketball for the Lady Mustangs. Emily was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she was active in their youth group and taught the Sunday evening kindergarten class. Of all the wonderful memories she left us, it is that brilliant smile that could light up a room whenever she entered that will never be forgotten. Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Ben and Ellen Taylor, and her paternal grandfather, Willett Lindsey. Survivors are her parents, Kelly and Krissie Lindsey of Casscoe; one brother, Eli Lindsey, a student at Southern Arkansas University at Magnolia; paternal grandmother, Charlotte Hardin of Humnoke; several aunts, uncles, cousins and an endless host of friends. Funeral service, officiated by Bro. Sam Morgan and Bro. Thomas Bormann, will be 2 p.m., Tuesday at Grand Prairie Evangelical Methodist School Gymnasium. Burial will follow in Marsh Cemetery in Casscoe by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart. The family requests that memorials be made to Grand Prairie Evangelical Methodist School. Please go to www.turpinco.com to sign the online guestbook.
