Bessie Merriweather

Bessie Merriweather, age 89, of Sweet Home, died Sunday. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sweet Home and a lifelong resident of the community. She was precedent in death by her daughter, Essie Mae Gray and a son, Carl Merriweather. She is survived by two sons, Nathaniel (Barbara) Merriweather Jr. and Alvin Merriweather; her sister, Bernice F. Wilson; a loving granddaughter, Jacquline Ray; 23 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; her caregiver, Jessica Carlton.
