William Campbell Williams, 73, of Little Rock, Ark., entered into eternal rest Feb. 7, 2011. He was at his residence at the time of his passing. He was born March 9, 1937 in Ninety-six, S.C. to the late George and Georgia Williams Sr., W.C. Williams served in the United States Air Force and was a retiree of the Little Rock Municipal Airport. In 1975, after 20 years of military service, he moved to Little Rock where he spent the remainder of his days. He was a loving husband, father/grandfather and proud great-grandfather. He passes on a legacy of love for God and His word, an example of commitment and hard work and precious memories involving his travels. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Abye C. Williams; son, Morris Avery Hinton (Wanda); two daughters, Willa C. Williams and Valerie Hinton all resides in Little Rock; four grandchildren, Donte' Jackson, Constance, Aerial and Tomelia Hinton; four great-grandchildren, Kersean, Crystal, Dallas and Kemoni; brother, Thomas C. Williams; sister, Mary E. Hart; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family hour: today, 6-7 p.m. at Arms of Peace. Funeral: Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, 12 noon at Pleasant Hill CME Church, 3801 East 38th Street, Little Rock.
