Elbert Lee Bean

ELBERT LEE BEAN, age 68, of Alexander went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Benton, Ark. on Nov. 30, 1942. Mr. Bean was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Alice Bean; two sons, Michael and Delbert Bean; daughter, Sonya Bean, and one brother, Jimmy Bean. Survivors include his wife, Karen Bean of Alexander; two sons, Elbert Bean Jr. and Dennis R. Bean; three grandchildren, Marlaina, Jeanetta, and Matthew, and great-grandson, Gibson. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb., 14, 2011 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Rev. Kevin Sterling officiating.
