Gerald Berry

E. Gerald Berry, age 70, of Benton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011. He was born March 24, 1940 in Fordyce, Ark. Mr. Berry was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked 33 1/2 years for Reynolds Metal. He was a member of Benton First Assembly of God. Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Jewell Berry; three infant sons; granddaughter, Presley and his in-laws, Charlie and Eva Hubert. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Berry; daughter, Sherry Haywood and husband Scott; mother, Billie Mae Berry; granddaughter, Jordan Haywood; two step-granddaughters, Amanda Khamis and Candias Buffington; three step-great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Pete. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 at Benton First Assembly of God with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Rev.
