Gail Kinney Blevins, 58, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at her home in Little Rock. She was born December 4, 1952, the daughter of the late Neal and Syble Evans Kinney of Hartman (Johnson County) and Bryant, Arkansas. After graduating from Bryant High School, Gail attended UCA in Conway where she was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau and earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Special Education. Like her parents and brother, Gail made a career of teaching. She taught in the Little Rock Public School System. Gail made her home in Little Rock and was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Gail will be remembered for the love she had for her children, sense of humor, gift of gardening, care for her aging parents, and her ability to make friends, put people at ease, and bring neighbors together. Gail is survived by her children, Moriah, Matthew and Abigail Blevins of Little Rock; by her brother Gary Kinney of Midway, Arkansas, and his children Dana, Vanessa and Jesse Kinney of Little Rock; and by her four great-nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 6 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.
