Mrs. Helen Cottingham Harrison, 90, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Hillcrest Care and Rehabilitation in Prescott, Arkansas. She was born July 12, 1920, to Alonzo Jack and Lucy Cottingham in Nevada County, Arkansas. She was a member of Prescott First United Methodist Church, life member of the Order of Eastern Star, and Fairhills Home Extension Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Johnnie G. Harrison, two sisters, Lillie Formby and Grace Tyree, and three brothers, Dave, Floyd and Alonzo Cottingham. Her Survivors include a son, John Henry Harrison (Janice), Prescott, and daughter, Mary Frances Arnold (Richard), Little Rock; four grandchildren, Dr. Sally Kalkbrenner (Mark), White Hall; Major Matt Harrison USAF (Allison), Springfield, Va.; Dr. Jon Richard Arnold (Elizabeth), Tupelo, Miss.; Dr. James Anthony Arnold, Little Rock; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gertie Meador, Houston, Texas; Dorothy Grimes (Lloyd), Prescott, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011, First United Methodist Church, Prescott, Arkansas, with Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland and Rev. Carlton Cross officiating.
