Samuel Lee Gooding, Sr.

Rev. Samuel Lee "Dutch" Gooding Sr., 78, of Alexander, translated to glory on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011. He leaves to mourn his loss: wife, Bobbie M. Gooding; three children, son, Rev. Samuel L. (Barbara) Gooding, daughter, Cynthia L. Bosley, both of Alexander, Ark. and son, Bishop Tony R. (Debbie) Gooding of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Ray Gooding of Memphis, Tenn. and Fred Gooding of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Trevis (Dwayne) Harper, Lois (Linus) Miller, both of Houston, Texas and Arthur (Hilly) Hicks of San Bernardino, Calif.; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Family hour will be Friday, February 18, 2011, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 19, 2011, 11 a.m., at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in Alexander, Ark.
