James L. "Honeycomb" Ackles, Sr.

James L. "Honeycomb" Ackles Sr., 82, of Stuttgart, Ark., passed away on February 10, 2011. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Roberta "Rosie" Ackles, his father Jack Ackles, sister Erma L. Ice, sister, Emma A. Daniels, and brother, Judge Ackles. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife Betty Phillips Ackles, six daughters: Helen (Keith) Jones of Pine Bluff, Ark., Mae White Ackles and Sarah Holt of Stuttgart, Ark., Wanda Jean Ellis of California, Ester (Bill) Edwards of Kansas City, Mo.; four sons: James Ackles Jr., Troy (Sherry) Jackson, of Carlisle, Ark., Roy (Cynthia) Caldwell of Detroit, Mich.; one brother, John Henry (Alice) Ice, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and one sister, Betty (Robert) Love of Altheimer, Ark. and 35 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation for Mr. Ackles will be Friday, February 18, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Bible Believers House of Faith, 401 Tannenbaum, Stuttgart, Ark., Home going service will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1pm at Anointed House of Prayer, 802 North College, Stuttgart, Ark..
