John L. McKee

John L. McKee, 63, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 16th, 2011. He was born November 15th, 1948 in Texas to the late Arvell "Skeeter" and Mable Miller McKee. John had a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family camping and fishing. He was also an avid toy collector, and served our country in the Army. Cherishing his memory are his wife of 41 years, Margaret; his two children, John Daily McKee (Angie), and Dana Suzette Pearson (Jesse), all of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Dillon Pearson, Geronimo McKee, Jericho McKee, and Destiny Phillips; two brothers, Thurman McKee (Debbie) of Florida, Jackie McKee (Brenda) of Sherwood, Arkansas; two sisters, Marilyn Hull (Mickey) of Scott, Arkansas, and Barbara McKee of North Little Rock; and his dog, Pee Wee. A celebration of John's life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 19th, 2011 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515.
