Lillian M. Jerry

Lillian M. Jerry, 88, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011. She was born August 11, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late John and Antoine Schmitt. Lillian attended Carver Chiropractic College, was the Church secretary of 40th and Hazel Street Church of Christ in Pine Bluff for many years, and also was employed in the Suspense Department of DFA. She was a member of Gateway Church in Benton. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence J. Taylor and Charles M. Jerry, Sr.; three brothers, Joe, Art and Florian Schmitt; and two sisters, Helen Pinard and Bernice Van Siac. Survivors include her two sons, James Taylor and wife Linda of Pine Bluff, and Charles M. Jerry and wife Liane of Bryant; nephew, John C. Jerry of El Dorado, Ark.; five grandchildren, Chris Taylor and wife Brandy, Lisa Taylor, Jonathan Jerry, Liana Jerry and Laura Norsworthy; and four great-grandchildren, Jordan Taylor, Alex Taylor, Joseph Richardson and Mason Norsworthy; and her calico cat, Ginger. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011, at Gateway Church, 1201 W. Longhills Road, Benton, Ark 72019, with Pastor Jeff Medders officiating.
