Edward Marcol

Edward Marcol of Cherokee Village, Ark., in his 99th year, passed away at the Ash Flat Health Care Center on Saturday, February 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 67 years of the home, Maybelle Doris Marcol; one son and wife, Edward Michael and Sherry Marcol of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one daughter and son-in-law Vivian Elizabeth Marcol-Bugaoan and Dr. Redanceo Careno' Bugaoan of Massapequa, New York, one grandson and his fiancée Benjamin Michael Marcol and Emily McMullen. He was a graduate of Rider University in New Jersey also graduate as an Army officer from the War College in Carlisle, Pa. He served in the military from 1941=1946 during WWII. He worked as an accounting executive for General Motors for 32 years, retiring in 1972 and coming to Cherokee Village.
