Earline Offutt Boast

Earline Offutt Boast, 84, of White Hall, Ark., died in Pine Bluff on Feb. 19, 2011. Born in Pine Bluff on Aug. 3, 1926, a daughter of the late Earl Montgomery and Virgaline Harter Offutt, she grew up in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1944. She married Edgar W. Boast on Nov. 27, 1945 in Pine Bluff. Mr. Boast died Feb. 2, 2011. A homemaker, devoted mother and grandmother, she was a member of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Larry D. Boast of Russellville, Ark., David W. Boast of White Hall, Randall L. Boast of Pine Bluff; brother, Ancel M. Offutt of Mt. Ida, Ark.; sisters, Betty Offutt Bell of Rogers, Ark. and Una Offutt Oliver of San Saba, Texas; nieces and nephews including Gary L. Watts of Rogers; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Donalda Watts, and two brothers, John E. Offutt and Robert A. Offutt. Services are Monday, Feb. 21, at 10:30 a.m. at Ralph Robinson & Son. Interment follows at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at Robinson's.
