Mildred Lucy Armbrust

MILDRED LUCY ARMBRUST, 92, of Sherwood was born Oct. 5, 1918, in Water Valley, Kent., to Toy and Ester Cole and passed away on Feb. 18, 2011, at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Armbrust was owner of Michelle's Needle Craft in Sherwood for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen W. Armbrust. She is survived by her son, Mike Armbrust; her daughter, Michelle Wood (Clark); her granddaughter, Meagan; and grandson, Allen Wood; and many nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Lakewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center as well as Arkansas Hospice for the loving care they showed towards their mother during her illness. Services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock with visitation from 6 to 8 on Monday at the funeral home.
