Thom Bennewise

TOM BENNEWISE, 56, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011. He was a former store manager of Camera Mart, a 1972 graduate of Catholic High School, where he was fortunate enough to meet Bob Hope during his activities with the ROTC and a graduate of UALR with a Bachelor of Arts. Tom was a staff photographer for Governors Bill Clinton and Frank White. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Bennewise, (the light of his life); mother, Agnes Bennewise, both of North Little Rock; sister, Charlotte (Bennewise) Peebles, of Little Rock; and godchild, Lilly Hastings, of North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Bennewise; and brother-in-law, Billy Peebles. Memorials may be made to Catholic High School, 6300 Father Tribou St., Little Rock, Ark. 72205. A visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Monday, followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m., in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main St., 758-1170.
