Mildred Geneva Lambert

Mildred Geneva Lambert, age 78, of Bauxite, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011. She was born October 7, 1932 in Grant County, Arkansas. Mildred was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church on Peeler Bend Road. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Stella Hill of Bauxite; husband, James Lambert of Bauxite; brother, James Hill of Benton and a sister, Delta Weaver of Texas. Mildred is survived by two sons, Terry Lambert (Nina) and Derek Lambert (Joann); daughter, Tonia Hofmeister (Ted); nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Hill (Marilyn) and Glen Hill (Jacque); three sisters, Estes Morris (Fred), Pat Jefferson (David) and Evelyn Jackson (Ed); sister-in-law, Frances Hill along with many cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Keith Lambert, Brandon Lambert, Chris Lambert, John Hofmeister, Jeromy Hofmeister and her nephew, Lee Jackson. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 22 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Rev. Carl Wright will be officiating. On-line guest book at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
