Tammy Davis

Tammy Davis, age 50, of Newhope, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was born September 1, 1960, at DeQueen, the daughter of Willie V. O'Neal and Emma Lee Marshall O'Neal. On May 30, 1977, she was married to Pierre Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a member of the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary and the Gideons Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and spending time outdoors and on their farm. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Pierre Davis of Newhope; her sons and daughters, Cory and Dinah Davis of Maumelle and Brady and Danielle Davis of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Maggie, Mimi, Juliana, Natalia and Ruby; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Penny O'Neal of Hot Springs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Larry Hicks of Texarkana and Pam and Tony Davis of Newhope; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, in the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Jewell, Bro. Loy Counts, Bro. Kevin Smead and Bro. Kenny Fant officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6-8 p.m., at Daisy Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Mount Joy Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Simon Mack, Josh Allen, Jeremy Jewell, Sam Davis, Kevin Miller and Roger "Bimbo" Flemens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O.
