Herchel Robert Eagle

Hershel Eagle, 87, died Friday. He was a World War II Army veteran and member of the VFW. A retired truck driver, he was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Survivors are wife, Vera; sons, James Lovio and Joe Eagle; daughter, Ann Inman; adopted son, Daniel Ruffin; brother; two sisters; step-sister; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 3 p.m., Sunday at Harmony Baptist Church with visitation at 2 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home. www.turpinco.com.
